Geoguesser challenges you to identify the location of a photograph (taken from Google streetview). You can take your time and navigate the location before going for the ‘guess’. In the geography classroom it is is, of course, the reasoning that counts in making the decision.
You could therefore use a quick Socrative to gather information from every member of the class which asks them to reflect on how they went about their decision. The beauty of Socrative is that you no longer obtain information from just a few – hands up to give an answer – but rather you have a quick report delivered directly to your email for every student in the room.
